Water Therapy

In a recent health update, water therapy (hydrotherapy) is becoming a more common type of physical therapy to use in healing the body and mind. It provides patients with an option to heal less painfully, without the gravitational pulls on their bodies to bring them down. However, this therapy technique has been used in ancient times-centuries ago.

When I first got my German Shepherd puppy, the vet told us that he had problems with his back legs, and recommended we send him to get hydrotherapy for dogs. Major rehabilitation centers are now using water therapy as their major technique in healing and exercise. I also heard about people that are overweight and have other physical illness, use hydrotherapy as their main way of exercise to reduce pain and be more effective.
